In spring of 2018 at age 17, Samuel played 12 games scoring, 4 goals and 2 assists, in the Premier League Soccer in Quebec with CS St Hubert.  Samuel is currently playing with ASPTT Dijon in the highest U19 league in France (U19 National).  In 2017, Samuel was a starter on the Dawson Men’s D1 Soccer team (English Pre-University educational institution in Quebec), where he was the CCAA - ACSC Men's Soccer All-Canadian for the 2017, the RSEQ Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year and led the conference in scoring with nine goals in nine games. As a U17, Samuel was a starter on the U18 Team Quebec (provincial/state team) that won a bronze medal at the Canada Games held in Winnipeg, Manitoba this past August. Recently he was invited to participate in a 2 week training session with U19 RC Lens in Lens, France. Living in Quebec, Samuel always studied in french schools before attending Dawson in September. Samuel scored 1050 on his SAT, which he wrote in May of 2017, this was the first time he had written an exam in english. Samuel's NCAA ID is #1709904095.

In 2016, Samuel played for the championship U16 AAA Provincial team (Quebec Cup). He scored the cup-winning goal in the 90th minute in the Quebec-Ontario Cup. During this season he scored 18 goals in 16 games. This league represents the best level of his age group across Canada. He is also a member of the Montreal Concordia Sport Study Program (best players from Montreal), where players are selected for their grades, soccer skills and their attitude on and off the field. He also was a member of the Montreal Impact FC, Academy from 2013-2016. The top 15 best players of his age group are selected from Central and Eastern Canada to attend the Academy. Samuel was also an important member of the Provincial championship team in 2013.

Samuel has a great aptitude for all aspects of the game, always well positioned, which is one reason he scores a lot of goals. He is very good technically; left-footed but can use both feet with ease. He is a very good passer with his long passes and is extremely accurate on his one touch passes. Very good and confident 1v1. He is a smart player on the field and adapts well to the game plan of his coaches. He is responsible defensively. Samuel is very self-assured with the ball, never panics. Has experience playing as a Striker, Left/Right Winger & Left/Right fullback. Great team player, he never puts himself ahead of the team. Samuel is a leader by his actions on the field. Has a great presence during the game and is a confident boaster for his teammates. He has good chemistry with the team, very coachable and has a winning attitude.
